Status- Completed

Coming from the nursing background, Ashok had been working as a stroke nurse. His research deals with developing a smartphone app to train the caregivers of the bedridden stroke patients so that they can provide care to their patients at home and minimize  the post stroke complications. Mr.Jangir has a number of national and international publications to his name including a book chapter and has also presented his work in various conferences. Most notable ones are:

  1. Presentedresearch poster on “Development, Feasibility And Validation Of “Stroke HomeCare” Application In A Resource Limited Setting: A Proof Of Concept Study” in State-of-the-ScienceStroke Nursing Symposium 2020, (International Stroke Conference 2020)held from 19-2-2020 to 22-2-2020 at Los Angeles, CA. (Poster ID: WP451)

3. Mr. Mukesh Kumar

Status-Completed (Degree awaited)

Medical therapy used in major trials onextra cranial symptomatic carotid stenosis would be suboptimal now. Majority of these patientsmay fare well on optimal medical therapy (OMT) and therefore, surgery is believed to beunnecessary in a subset of patients.

Mr.Mukesh aimed to develop a risk prediction modeland to identify ESCS patients with highenough risk to warrant prophylacticintervention.

4.Ms.Pratiti Banerjee

Status-Completed (Degree awaited)

Pratiti comes from a background of Medical Biotechnology with thorough experience in wet stem cell oncology and molecular biology. Her project focused on developing a biomarker based diagnostic model to predict the onset of progression and neuro degeneration in Multiple Sclerosis patients. She was also involved in various intramural projects based on diagnosis and treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and is an integral part of management of the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Clinic and patient outreach program MoveStrong, designing and management of the Move Strong website and management of International MS registry MSbase. Pratiti was the recipient of the prestigious Du Pre Grant 2017 granted to three research scholars globally each year by Multiple Sclerosis International Federation (MSIF) to carry out translational research in Multiple Sclerosis in a country other than the one currently working in through which she worked as a Visiting Scientist in the Department of Translational Neurology, Muenster University Hospital, Germany for a period of 110days. She has also presented her work in various national and global conferences. For detailed publication and achievement list please follow the link https://www.linkedin.com/in/pratiti-banerjee-3b180bb0/
